Molveno is a brand specialized in the production of switches in series and molding of plastic materials. Its history merges into ours in 1987 and the logos associated with this brand that we have today on our products are M-Molveno and AC.

To realize the importance of this brand we must go back to 1909, when in Caprino Veronese, in the province of Verona, the idea of a new electrical equipment factory was born from Agostino Cometti, the "A. Cometti ". It is the first Italian business to make pieces of printed electro-technical porcelain.

The company grows at such a fast pace that the need arises to also produce electrical installation material (switches, lamp holders, sockets, plugs, valves, fuses, terminal blocks), for the realization of which it is necessary to integrate metal pieces, both sheared and turned. This is how a real small full-cycle industry is structured.

Starting in the 1960s, evolution led to the creation of a new line of products, switches and controls for small and large appliances (hairdryers, coffee machines, blenders, cookers, washing machines and refrigerators). To continue the business growth it becomes essential to find an area that offers abundant manpower. The answer to this need is found in the municipality of Ala, in the province of Trento: Molveno Spa was born in this new settlement in 1967.

At the end of the 1970s, Cometti di Caprino merged with Molveno di Ala. At the beginning of the 1980s, investments were made to create automatic lines for the assembly and final control of switches produced in large series.

The approach of the European Union increasingly highlights the need for industries in the sector to think about more important dimensions in order to remain competitive. And it is at this point that the history of "Molveno Cometti" merges with ours: it is 1987. A prestigious brand that we are proud to have incorporated into our offer.
